Maggie · Creator of Sunday Freezer
Created by Maggie, who kept cooking for a crowd of two.
It was 5:40 on a Wednesday and I was standing at the stove with a pot big enough for six, stirring dinner for two. The kids were grown and gone. My hands had not gotten the memo.
I tried a big cook-ahead Sunday that ate the whole afternoon and left a freezer of foil lumps nobody could name. Then takeout, then shrinking recipes by hand. Every fix was another project.
It was never the cooking. I always started from a pile of recipes instead of a plan: no single shopping list, no assembly order, no label. So I wrote the plan first, and I called it The Sunday Hour.
I made it for my own freezer first. Now it is laid out for yours: pick a plan, print the list, and spend one Sunday hour instead of five weeknight scrambles.
